I Wish I Could Draw: Solo Exhibition by Phillip Browne

The Quinebaug Valley Council for the Arts and Humanities (QVCAH) is proud to present the opening reception of I Wish I Could Draw by Connecticut artist, Phillip Browne. This multimedia exhibition will be on view through June 17th, 2012 at the Art Center, 111 Main Street, Southbridge, MA. QVCAH invites the public to attend the reception on Thursday, May 17th from 6-9 pm. The exhibition and reception are free to attend.

I Wish I Could Draw is the first a solo show by Phillip Browne and an introduction to the artist's experimental approach to a variety of subjects and numerous mediums. Phillip Browne will be exhibiting colorful clay mosaics, hidden picture paintings and recycled etched disc & mirror assemblages. A self taught artist, Phillip Browne's work resonates with a refreshing quality of exploration, the result of a prolific year of experimentation--it is engaging and unconstrained.

This exhibition is sponsored by The Quinebaug Valley Council for the Arts and Humanities. Portions of the exhibit will be viewable online at www.qvcah.org. Please see the QVCAH website for gallery hours. If you have questions regarding the exhibition, please visit www.qvcah.org, email: m.agnello@qvcah.org or call 508-764-3341.
