  1. Why don't all you people who are so upset about Obama's "redistribution" complain about the CDBG money that used to be limited to property improvements that helped Southbridge look more attractive. Now it's going to social, ethnic, and religious groups that are going to see that their people vote for those who gave it to them.

    1. Damn right. Clark, Acly and Nikola have brought Chicago style patronage to Southbridge.
They are giving money that should go to property to radical church groups and Puerto Ricans, who got money the last time and are coming back for more money because they couldn't make it work.If ever there was entitlement thinking this is it. And Clark, Acly and Nikola are the enablers.

    2. It’s almost funny.

If they are going to start giving CDBG money to these kinds of groups, then maybe I should start a Southbridge Recycling Corps. Then we’d get this money. And our paid employees would cordially and in a courteous manner approach and work with those who didn’t conform to Cathy’s draconian trash regulations.

And guess what? Then we could stop taking money from the town budget to finance these patronage trash enforcement hacks.

    3. The bigger deal is all the CDBG money they gave to Gabe Mccarthy and his wife. Almost a million bucks and they both declared bankruptcy less than a year later? Where did all that money go? Sure didn't go into the buildings like it was supposed to.

  2. All Clark really cares about is making sure that it takes 6 votes to fire him. He’ll push that charter amendment through WIT. And he’ll make sure that all these people who got the money vote for it.

    Pourquoi - Misappropriations of funds?

  5. Did anyone see the story about this audit in the T&G today? It states how kathy is opposed to spending $20k on "Butch's deal".....but she and some of the others had no problem spending $120k, $124k and $168k on new toys for the DPW a few months back....hmmmm?
