  1. I see Mr O'Brien copped a previous posters" BigMac" tag.

Anyway, to the new "leaders:". How much is enough? How much money do you want to continue to destroy our schools? 50 million? 75 million? (That was the last number they gave us to get the job done-new school.). 100 million dollars ( you can probably pay off all the law suits too.)

Give us the number you ninnies think will get us off Level 4, never mind Level 1

  4. If they held these meetings weekly we could probably sell them to the comedy channel as a reality series. That might pay for the unemployment and legal expenses.

    1. Great idea. You should run for Selectman!

    2. I was going to agree with this idea, but tonight's episode, with the exception of Olivio, was really short on character development. Except for him they didn't show any character at all.

    1. Brent Abrahamson thinks their great. That ought be all you need to hear. King DB kissing the Queens asses.

I had Abrahamson in school and he sucked! He still sucks! And his want-to-be blog sucks

    2. On one hand Brent thinks they are great, but on the other hand he writes on his blog that he wants a state takeover. Face it, he's on every side of every issue.

  7. If the speaker at public input wants to address cronyism and nepotism perhaps he should look into the influx of people from Springfield.

  9. I thought Abrahamson was a blow hard. He couldn't carry Ted Bartlett's baggage. Keep in mind, Ted is looking for something - he always is.

  10. Olivio speaks! To those who thought Olivio could not speak - he can. He and Bartlett trade nonsense.

  25. How sad.for our kids. I didn't sleep last night thinking about the school committee meeting. Their disingenuous talk about the prior meeting's attack on those poor guidance counselors was as bad as the actual attacks that Ms. McLoughlin failed to control. She wanted the boss seat and failed to use it properly.
Then the BS that she gave us regarding the missing superintendent was deplorable.
We have entrusted our kids education to a person with no real experience, other than being principal at a failing high school in western Mass. She has been here 8 months, and by all accounts is a nasty, condescending, unprofessional person. Her wife is also now teaching social studies at the new school after Buzz terminated a veteran teacher (law suit underway)

I voted for McLoughlin and regret it so much. I hate to pull my two lids out, but they're leaving my husband and I no choice.

    1. Absolutely correct. there was no apology and McLaughlin didn't speak the truth!
yes it certainly was a public personnel evaluation that was conducted on the guidance staff . It was also one on this school committee and they FAILED MISERABLY.
no gavel to stop it - no point of order to stop it. - no reason to not school choice and NO LEADERSHIP anywhere on this committee.
Olivio may have found his voice and the correct message but it is too little too late. The damage to the staff is done. The damage to the credibility of this school committee on full display for all to see.The district is a sinking ship too far gone to be brought into port for repairs.

    2. I teach with the above mentioned history teacher who is an excellent teacher, was a Fulbright Scholar, and has tamed some of the toughest kids in the high school. Her partner is a retired Springfield teacher. Enough.

  26. The DESE monitors will be presenting their quarterly report on April 29. They will most assuredly tell the committee how smashingly well things are going.
