The case by Amy Allen Magnan against the School Committee and former Superintendent Gardner was recently decided in Ms. Magnan's favor. Here is Chairman McLoughlin's statement on that matter.

So what does this mean? Amy gets a big "I'm sorry we screwed up" from the SC? At the very least she was defamed by Gardner and the Svhool Committee. Sue their asses off Amy. You have quite a case.

  2. If you listen closely, this is a forced apology as the result of some legal action.

  3. Yes - the public apology was part of the stipulation; standard procedure - especially when no $$ will be changing hands tho $$ was spent on the investigation and legal fees to 'defend' Gardner/SC - and I would suspect that all of Amy's legal fees were subsequently pd by we the taxpayers as well - and you wonder why there is no $$ for textbooks?!?!?!?!!?!?!?

I thought that I noticed a little smile on Madame Chair's face when Amy approached the podium - interesting that this is how it ends - Ms Amy was a staunch supporter of her friend McLaughlin and her sidekick Donovan when they ran for office in 2012.
