The time has come to admit that I made a mistake.

I believe that it is also time for national Democrats (at least the majority of us) to admit the same.

For the good of the country Barack Obama should step aside. If it comes to it, he should be set aside.

Circumstances call for a Harry Truman.

We have a more talkative version of Calvin Coolidge.

Yes, we wanted hope.

Yes, we wanted change.

When it came down to driving people to the polls, we ultimately found Obama’s oratory more inspiring than Mrs. Clinton’s.

But, at least for the more cynical among us, there was also the belief that behind the image and the oratory there was the steely spine born of surviving Chicago politics.

It has become clear that the steely spine of the administration was named Rahm Emmanuel.

Ever since his departure this White House foundered in a sea of indecision, stumbling and abandonment of its core supporters.

The fact is that there was little difference philosophically between Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama.

It ultimately boiled down to perception and sentiment.

The time has come to admit that we made a mistake.

When it comes to cajones, it is clear that, at least figuratively, Hillary has the goods.

Let’s correct our error NOW!
