9.      Vote to confirm the appointment of Paulette Desorcy to the Historical Commission for a 3-year term effective immediately through June 30, 2016.

10.  Vote to confirm the appointment of Michael Marino to the Commission on Disability for a 3-year term effective immediately through June 30. 2016.

11.  Vote to ratify the transfer of FY2014 Local Cultural Council Funds from the Massachusetts Cultural Council in the amount of $9,300.00 covering the dates of service July 1, 2013 to June 30, 2014.

12.  Vote to ratify the agreement between the Town of Southbridge and Stan Kaitbenski, Inc., for the demolition and removal of materials from 130 Everett Street, Southbridge in the amount of $15,900.00.

13.  Vote to transfer the sum of $60,000.00 from the following accounts to fund the change out and replacement of the Fire Station Heating System:

Town Council Reserve #1.132.5781                           $20,000.00

Sale of Real Estate – Receipts Reserved #6522         $20,000.00

Landfill Royalty-Receipts Reserved #6790               $20,000.00     

14.  Vote to approve the Bond Fire at the McMahon Field pursuant to MGL for pre-Thanksgiving Football activities.

15.  Vote to approve the Bicentennial Committee’s request to host Fireworks at the Southbridge Municipal Airport in coordination with the Airport Commission.

My appreciation to Town Councilor Amelia Peloquin for providing a copy of this agenda. It would be nice if the Town Council could make it available on a timely basis on the town website as has been done in the past.

Also, item 14 is not a typo. The agenda does say “Bond Fire”.
