 The O'Zone reports that the letter from DESE Commissioner Chester advises the School Committee to suspend the Superintendent search until the receivership issue is resolved.

    Discussion of the letter from the Commissioner of DESE regarding Superintendent Search. Gee am I missing something? or did one of the fine SC members leak to you "DESE Commissioner Chester advises the School Committee to suspend the Superintendent search until the receivership issue is resolved".

      The advisory from the Commissioner is the gist of the letter.

    The search must continue. We're not going to end it, have DESE decide there will be no receivership, and later decide to reopen the search again.

      Why continue? Word on the street it has already been decided who the next superintendent will be. A yet again former employee and bestie of the several school committee members.

    I am sure you can narrow it down, it is word on the street only. Was a teacher, was a principal, was a director has been one for about year and half.

    If the rumor is the former Wells Middle School principal / Middle High School principal then they ought to rethink what they are doing. Amy Allen was unsuccessful in both of those positions for those of us who have the institutional memory. She was also Buzz’s hatchet woman who was directly involved in many fine teachers leaving the district.
