Interesting that they are appointing Gardner as acting Supt. only until May 5. Last time the appointment was until the next meeting. Will Buzz return on May 6, or is something else in store?
I wonder if Buzz’s buddies in the state are going to tell us how things have gotten SO much better with the accelerated improvement plan. After all, the last thing they want to have to do is take over the district. And if they do, then Buzz can take a victory lap, Buzz-off and leave it in Gardner’s lap, and ours.
Let's talk about the new principal search committees. It has come to my attention that Lynn Simmonds from Community Connections is on the MHS committee. Isn't Lauren McLoughlin a paid consultant for Community Connections? Does this sound ethical?
Well I guess the comments regarding Mrs. Allen's exploits during her " sick leave" are being heard. Mrs. Allen had reportedly returned to work, just not at the middle/high school. Buzz has created yet another central office job. No job description, no job posting, no interviews, no budgeted cost. Another $110,000.00 salary at central office. But she does have a nice tan! $$$$$$$$$
Tonight's meeting tells it all - we have a pathetic school committee - the leaders. Tonight clearly shows their lack of ability to make our schools better. The Department of Ed said it all, Buzz ain't gettin it done. There's a surprise. $155,000.00 per year, 7% annuity (another ten grand). What a disgrace these fools are!
To quote a new reality show, " you can correct ignorance, but you can't fix stupid."
We got "STUPID."
Where's Buzz ???
Now they're throwing Ann Laine under the bus.
Girls, go home and look in the mirror - YOU are the problem with the district!
The student rep is out of place speaking tonight. She openly admits , "she doesn't know." She, and the school committee, don't know - stop talking!!!!!!
This school committee brought about the chaos. Ms. Brio, her friend from Community Connection, Lynn Simond added to it. All these girls need to look at why the high school went from a level 1 school to a God knows what level school it currently ranks. Ms. Brio is out of place tonight.
Maybe I'm the only one but I'm glad Ms. Brio spoke up. This senior class at SMHS is one of the most talented (academically and otherwise) I've seen as a teacher in many years and they've been through hell! I can't help but wonder how much further they could have gone (learning) under different circumstances. What is, or is not, going on in this new MHS is heartbreaking for the teachers that care and work very hard. Talk in the teachers room in focused on how may teachers will be leaving at the end of this year. So many of us are just giving up. Things are not getting better!!!
Captains practices - unsupervised practices - OH NO !!! How dare the children be children and play a pick up game not under the supervision of our regime. They were discussing it and decided to discuss it further off line. - So exactly what are the Public meetings for then? Yet another policy decision will be done in darkness of 25 Cole Ave. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4ivUOnnstpg

I think I'm gonna have a stroke - like right now!
DeleteOur Super Buzz submitted our improvement plan in August and it was rejected until this month ! Even the douche bag Ely got a plan approved quicker.
ReplyDeleteGirls, Your Boy Buzz is as big a failure as you are.
Stop hurting my kids !!!!!!!!!! Get out !!!!!!!!!

ReplyDeleteShe has a valid point, though, about how the chaos this School Committee has caused has hurt her as a student.
