  2. Now if we could get a brain for the Town Council, I'd be impressed.

Since we already have Robotic Brains representing the Majority Town Council. I'm strongly in favor of Human Ones.

  3. Advertising for the Tea Baggers AND the GOP? I've hit my threshold of pain! While I appreciate your trying to be accommodating to all this is the straw that breaks this camels back. If I want to read garbage, I'd read Monique's site. Why not add that one as well to have the trifecta of fair and balanced bottom feeder sites? Thanks for the memories, Mr. O'Brien, but enough is enough!

    1. Instead of whining why don't you create a blog for the Southbridge Democratic Town Committee?

All you are advocating is censorship.

That is nothing more than an illustration of fear that you cannot confront those with whom you disagree and discredit them.

I think that if you consult with the advocates of the town meeting petition you will find that they feel that I and several others have done a pretty good job of that.

Contrary to the old adage, silence is not golden. It is merely cowardice.

    2. I would add that the true "bottom feeders" are those who are allowed to express their opinions without fear of contradiction.

  4. So you're saying that EVERY website you don't promote is censorship? Bull. You have a right to put up what you want to, and using your theory, every site you don't put up (i.e. FoxNews), you're censoring. If you're going to put up one, you should put up the other, as well as any other political party that's out there. To not do that IS censorship, don't you think?

    1. I have tried to list local websites of community interest. I have also tried to list websites with a political nature that impact local interests. I have not included several sites that have lain dormant for extended periods. If you feel that someone’s site has been unfairly excluded please tell me what they are.

    2. P.S. The column is call "My BLOG list". FOX NEWS is not a local blog.

    3. An additional observation.

I have maintained this list and have not removed sites that have either failed to live up to a pledge to provide reciprocity or that have removed me from their link list out of a fit of pique because they disagreed with my views on particular issues.

I think, if anything, your criticisms would be more appropriately directed at those sites rather than towards me.

  5. Interesting that KosKooks isn't a local blog either, so go ahead and justify your censorship anyway that you wish. Who do you think is interested in the lame GOP site in Southbridge? The guy running it is the only one, no doubt.

    1. Note that Kos Kooks is listed under "the funnies", not my blog list. You apparently just want to complain and carry out some kind of personal grudge.

      Have a nice day. :-)
