A Valentine To The O’Zone Readers

One of the frequently overlooked realities about the world wide web is that it is, in fact, worldwide.

Even as inconsequential a site as The O’Zone, once it is published, filters out to an audience that knows no boundaries.

With that in mind, I thought it might be interesting to share with you one of the interesting set of statistics that Google provides to its bloggers.

These are reports on where the visitors to our sites are coming from geographically.

Since The O’Zone began in February of 2011, Google has shown the total traffic to its pages as coming from the following countries. Keep in mind that they only report the top ten sources for the period covered.

As impenetrable as a given country is supposed to be you saw in the previous graphic that Iran was among the top ten countries visiting our pages. In the last week we have even had readers from China.



As messy as our petty little squabbles may appear sometimes, stop and think how many people around the world would die for the privilege to be able to participate in such squabbles.

Your participation in this forum is telling people the truth about what freedom of thought, expression and involvement are all about. The more you get involved in the debates and discussions on The O’Zone, the more you show people around the world what a truly free democratic society is all about.

The comments you write and the articles you post are the most revolutionary acts possible. They prove to readers outside the United States that the propaganda of repressive regimes about our country is nothing more than that – propaganda

Freedom and love go hand in hand and you are setting an example.

So keep writing and keep thinking. The whole world is watching.
